Her photos are also included in the file. When talking about photographic styles it is becoming more difficult all the time to tell the difference in our photos. I am very proud of the pictures she took. And I hope that you enjoy this picture file as much as we enjoyed shooting them. These photos are also displayed on our close friends George and Karen Adams’ Northwest Drag Racing website too. Please visit their great site, one of the oldest running websites in the northwest.

As mentioned in former posts we recommend that you download Cooliris, a 3D photo display. Cooliris software updates as well as other software updates may not be compatible with certain browsers so please be aware to load in the appropriate version that is compatible. We found that Cooliris, for now, does not appear to be compatible with the browser Internet Explorer so we are using  the Google Chrome browser.

A few weeks ago we also began featuring animal pictures in our Miscellaneous files, pictures taken by Andi with assistance from my wife Kathy. These pictures are taken at the local Safe Haven animal shelter, a no kill facility. Andi have been taking pictures of these great dogs and cats for months – who says animals don’t have personalities; check our her great pictures and endear yourself to our animal friends. Thank goodness that the vast majority of our four legged friends from this shelter often find themselves new homes in just a few days, some in just hours. But the races were completed, albeit carried into Monday, but another true classic. And a seemingly endless parade of nostalgia nitro funny cars with a 32 car qualified field. We’ve provided a step-by-step guide on installing Cooliris, and using it to view our photos in an amazing new way.

  1. The steps will be the same for Windows, Mac, or Linux based computers.
  2. Navigate in your default web browser to http://www.cooliris.com/download-all.php
  3. Download the plug-in that corresponds to your computer under “Coolris for the web”.
  4. When prompted by your browser click “Save”, and use your desktop for your destination.
  5. When the installer has finished downloading, start the installer by double clicking the install file on your desktop.
  6. Restart your browser.
  7. Navigate to www.grandstandphotos.com/gallery2/
  8. Find an Album to enjoy
  9. Click the slideshow screen icon in the upper left corner of the site
  10. Enjoy
